American Rodsmiths Warranty Programs
American Rodsmiths wants you to “Keep on Fishing”
Damaged Rod? Broken Guide? Chipped Insert? American Rodsmiths has you covered. Utilize one of the two programs listed below and American Rodsmiths will do all we can to ensure that you get to “Keep on Fishing”.
1 – Standard American Rodsmiths Warranty Program
American Rodsmits Rods are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the original owner. All American Rodsmiths clothing, hats and accessories are covered against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. Sales receipt or proof of purchase required for ALL warranty transactions.
Ship the damaged rod or accessory item in a disposable container, prepaid and insured, along with a check or money order for $20.00 per rod, or $7.50 per clothing or accessory item, to cover return shipping and handling for each claim.

Should the damage occur due to a manufacturing defect, American Rodsmiths will, at the company’s discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge. Damages occurring due to misuse, neglect, accident or normal wear and tear will, at the company’s discretion, be repaired or replaced for a fee after an estimate has been provided to you for approval, prior to any repair being started. If after examination we decide to replace the damaged product, but no longer offer that model, we will replace it with a product of equal or greater value and performance.
In no event shall American Rodsmiths be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages due to breach of this warranty or other warranties implied by law.
Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty may last or allow for exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above stipulated limitation and/or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state.
2 – American Rodsmiths “Keep on Fishing” Warranty Program
The American Rodsmiths “Keep on Fishing” program is a no questions asked, don’t worry about being denied, warranty option for American Rodsmiths rods.
Contact the American Rodsmiths Customer Service Department at (713) 466-7849 and say that you want to use the “Keep on Fishing” Warranty Program. Let us know your rod model number. If we no longer offer the model you have, we will offer a replacement of equal or greater value and performance than the one you broke, dependant on stock levels, and we will ship you a current replacement via standard UPS ground service. When you receive your new rod, remove it from the shipping tube, place the broken rod in the same tube, and ship back to American Rodsmiths at –

This program costs $55.00 for all American Rodsmiths Rods with a Limited Lifetime warranty. Standard shipping method will be UPS Ground within the Continental U.S. This can be upgraded to UPS 2-Day service for an additional $15.00, again, within the Continental U.S. only.
The fee for this warranty option will be paid by credit card over the phone and offers a hassle free way to make sure you can “Keep on Fishing”. Broken rods MUST BE returned to American Rodsmiths within 30 days of the receipt of your replacement rod. If they are not returned, you hereby authorize American Rodsmiths to charge your credit card for the full manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the replacement rod in addition to the original upfront replacement cost.
